We hope that this page will provide you with the information and links to resources that you need to be successful at Appalachian. If you can't find what you are looking for, let us know and we will direct you. Our contact information is in the box in the left-hand column of this page. The Quick Guide section gives a very brief outline of what the service is. If you click on the link, you will find more information about that service, as well as a link to the office that provides the service. Additionally, there is a table of Useful Links at the bottom of the page.

Quick Guide:

Career Devolpment Center: Assists in job and internship search skills. Helps you build a professional resume, wite a cover letter, and develop your interviewing skills.

Counseling Center: Individual and group counseling; help with academic withdrawal; help with return after a temporary absence.

Course Equivalency Guide: Helps you work out how your course may transfer to Appalachian. 

Degree Works: Helps you keep track of courses you have completed and courses you still need to do.

Learning Assistance Program (LAP): Academic help, including tutoring.

Library: Library introduction and resources specifically designed for transfer students.

Off-campus Housing: Need to find a roommate? Need to find an apartment? This is the place to start.

Office of Disability Services: Need help getting accommodations for classes, tests, papers? Check here.

Office of Transfer Services: Do you have questions about how your credit will transfer to Appalachian? OTs can help.

Career Exploration Office: Help with choosing a major or career.

Writing Center: Get help with writing your papers.
